Conditions for admission of students to tertiary institutions

  • The minimum age for entry into tertiary institutions is 16 years unless the candidate was certified as gifted.
  • A student entering a tertiary institution must produce a letter of recommendation / testimonial from the principal of his or her last Secondary School
  • As a condition for admission, or re-admission, every student must produce a letter of reference from a person of reputable standing in the society who can vouch for the good behaviour of the student.
Accounting

The major objective of the Department of Accounting are to produce high level Accounting Personnel and to expand the frontiers of Accounting knowledge though research and publications as well as improving the quality of professional accounting in Nigeria and beyond.

Public Administration

The Department offers a full-time Bachelors degree Programme in Public Administration (BPA) which is designed to turn out high-level manpower and equip them with the necessary aptitude and skills to enable him serve as top-level personnel or as professional practitioner..

Psychology

The programe is aimed at developing and improving students understanding of social problem through the efficient use of modern social research techniques .

Banking and Finance

The B.Sc. (Banking and Finance) degree programme aims at producing graduates who are able to assist in the solution of banking and finance problems that affect the society at large.

Economics

The B.Sc. (Economics) Degree Programme aims at producing graduates who are above to assist in the solution of Economic problem that affect the society at large.

Sociology

The programme aims at the development of the student’s critical judgment, his ability to observe, understand, analyse, and synthesise data on socio-economic problems using social science methods, and on national issues.

Business Administration

The Department of Business Administration, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma offers a degree in Business Administration. The programme is designed to promote managerial competence and administrative efficiency of higher cadre members of staff in both the public and private sectors of the economy.

Political Science

The B.Sc (Political Science) Degree Programme aims at producing graduates who are able to assist in tending the solution of political problems that affect the society at large.
