ADMISSION INTO FULL TIME AND PART TIME NATIONAL INNOVATIVE DIPLOMA, HIGHER NATIONAL INNOVATIVE DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES FOR THE ACADEMIC SESSION
Application are invited from suitably qualified candidates for Admission into the National Innovative Diploma, Higher National Innovative Diploma Programmes of The College, across the country for the year 2017/2018 session into all Departments.: Applications forms (Scratch Card) are obtainable from ay of our Affiliates and Campuses across the Country. The Simplicity, ease of use, responsiveness and hitch-free is all we intend to deliver with the new portal system. The management of CVST is working vigorously to provide best service with information Technology, through the deployment of high-tech solutions.
ADMISSION ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Any candidate seeking admission into the National Innovative diploma must obtain a minimum of Five (5) credit passes at the NABTEB, S.S.C.E/G.C.E/N.E.C.O ‘O’ level in relevant subjects and compulsory credit passes in English Language and Mathematics before the award of the Diploma certificate. Any candidate seeking admission into the Higher National Innovative Diploma must obtain a minimum of Five (5) credit passes at the NABTEB, S.S.C.E/G.C.E/N.E.C.O ‘O’ Level in relevant subjects and compulsory credit passes in English Language and Mathematics, with a Diploma Certificate from any University, or Ordinary National Diploma Certificate from any recognized Polytechnic, or National Certificate of Education from any recognized College of Education or any other similar qualifications. No candidate will however be allowed to combine more than two results for the purpose of admission.
GRADUATION POLICY
Based on the Unit Course System, a student is expected to satisfy 75% attendance requirement before being allowed to write sessional Examinations. Continuous assessment [i.e. tests and assignments] attracts 30% of the total score for each course, while the sessional examination attracts 70%. A student is allowed a minimum of four [4] semesters and a maximum of eight [8] semesters within which to complete his or her programme. A student is deemed to have met graduation requirements if his or her CGPA is not less than 2.00 and had passed all courses approved for registration. The number of course Units required for the award of National Innovative Diploma or Higher National Innovative Diploma shall be 72 Units
